Headteacher's Welcome

I am honoured to be the Headteacher of Broadlea Primary School and welcome you to our school website. We are proud to be part of the community and work closely with parents and carers to provide a stable, happy environment in which your child can succeed.

Our mission is to immerse children in a quality teaching and learning environment in order to support them to ‘Achieve, Believe and Celebrate’. We set high teaching standards and have high learning expectations of the children. We are totally committed to giving all children the best educational start we can.

Our Values

Through collaboration between all staff and pupils, the promotion of Broadlea values and a caring approach, we make it our mission to provide a safe, structured, supportive environment for children to learn, flourish and grow as individuals. Our ethos is built on Broadlea values, which include unity, respect, tolerance and friendship, and reflect fundamental British values.

At Broadlea, every individual is valued for who they are and what they contribute to the school. Through our values, we teach children to believe in themselves and their abilities, to push themselves to work through challenges, to try their best, and to persevere and have patience when faced with difficulties.

We celebrate our achievements weekly in our Celebration Assemblies and showcase our work through special class assemblies and open afternoons.

We believe in encouraging and developing every child and helping them to make the very most of their time with us so that they can be the best they can be.

We look forward to welcoming you into our school.

Mrs Sharon Freeley
