Berry Hill Childcare
Play, Learn, Achieve
Berry Hill provides childcare for children aged 12 months to 8 years and is located in a purposely-adapted area of Broadlea Primary School. Although it shares the Broadlea facilities, it is a privately registered child care provider and not part of the school.
Children thrive at this well-established, exciting pre-school. They feel safe and secure. Children confidently leave their parents and immediately engage in purposeful play. The inspirational environment focusses on the children. Inviting opportunities, both indoors and outdoors, engage children's interest. (Ofsted July 2022)
Berry Hill benefits greatly from the unique facilities offered at Broadlea, including use of the school hall, field, Early Years environment and Forest School area. The transition between pre-school and Early Years is a strength with children visiting Broadlea many times during the year prior to them beginning school in September.
Berry Hill occupies two former classrooms, now converted into two light, clean and bright playroom areas: the Blueberries Room and the Strawberries Room. Each has its own access to the outside area to allow free flow play whatever the weather.
The private outside area stretches round three sides of the building consisting of paved areas and grassed areas populated with trees; the area is completely fenced and has a secure access system.
Berry Hill has its own secure entrance to the right hand side of the main Broadlea Primary School entrance. Parking is available in Morrison’s car park or side roads.
